Great Compliment

I have shared some cupcake pictures of Dana and Tim's travel themed wedding on my last post this week.  Today, I would like to share this great complimentary email I received from Dana's mom, Debbi, who I also mentioned on my last post.

Below is her compliment about our service and our hand crafted decorative cupcakes:

I thought the cupcakes turned out fantastic!! They were soooooo adorable- everybody was commenting on them. All that attention to detail - just so cute!  They really pulled together the travel theme. And they were delicious too - that's the best part. (My favorite flavor was the chocolate peanut butter, and I still can't decide which was my favorite fondant topper - all so cute!.) Thank you so much...

Thank you again so much.  I'll definitely be recommending you to my cupcake loving friends.
Debbi

I have been very busy and stressful for my full-time job lately.  Debbi's compliment has certainly put a big smile on my stressful face.  I am happy to see my clients and all their guests enjoyed the cupcakes and amazed by the decoration on top of them.  Debbi even send me a link of the professional pictures of their wedding.  If you are interested to see more pictures of the wedding and our cupcakes, head over to here Jason Burns Photography.  The pictures are wonderful; they captured all the important and sweet moments of the wedding.  The wedding was absolutely beautiful and unique and it totally represented Dana and Tim.

There are 3 things that last: faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love.

Love is in the air - I have a lot of friends are getting married these few years. I was so touched by the ceremonies; especially when the bride and groom were exchanging their vows to each other and making a toast to their new partner and their families.

Recently, I have been making a lot of cartoons inspired cupcake toppers (Super Mario Brothers, South Park, Speedy Gonzalez, Gegege No Kitaro).  I abosolutely enjoyed doing them.  However, I love to do some cupcakes, which I could show more of my creativity side.  The past weekend, I made three mini cupcakes, which were inspired by LOVE.  Love makes a lot of things possible and could drive you to run very far. Still, getting married is probably one of the most important decisions a person can ever make in their lives.  It certainly takes courage to finally decide that person is the right one for you and to share the rest of your life with. Whether you're having a fairytale princess wedding or a simple backyard wedding, I wish all the brides and grooms enjoy, remember and freeze that magical moment.

Bridal Shower's Cupcakes

I made some cupcakes for a bridal shower party this weekend.  The theme colors of the shower are grey, deep purple, and rosy pink.  Normally, majority of couples would use the same colors on their invitation, and that would be a good source for the baker to mix the right colors for making the decoration.  I had a little challenge this time that I didn't have this source because the couple were having a very unique theme on their invitation and they didn't use any of these colors on it.  I just need to use a little imagination for mixing the colors based on what I have been told from my client.  They turned out lovely!  And I hope my client and her guests love them.

Tux and bridal dress cupcake toppers just for the bride.

The first name and last name of the groom to be starts with J,
and the first name of the bride also starts with J.  I made this monogram for them.

A color matching flower bouquet

Little love birds said "we do"

For the fondant, I also embrace some flower pattern on the fondant
to make them look more elegant and detail.

One dozen of our classic flavor cupcakes (this is our red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting)
is only $20 dollars for the first time customers
(regular price is $25 for a dozen).
