I LOVE Pinterest!

Follow Me on Pinterest

Ever since I discovered this website, Pinterest, I am obsessed with it.  It's a very smart and well-organized website for searching topics, that you like.  It's much better than typing keywords on the search engine, such as Yahoo, Google or Bing...

You could find every topic on Pinterest - from Fashion to Home to Health to FOOD...everything you would love to explore is on Pinterest. The awesomest part is you could pin whatever you like and organize them by categories, and you could always re-visit the one you pinned later.  Most of the people pinned their items; they are nice enough to share instructions of how they made their items or where you could find the items.  And you think that's awesome, wait...because you could immediately share with your family and friends on Facebook and Twitter.

Remember to follow us on Pinterest (click the logo above) and explore more...Happy Pinning and Happy Friday!

Cupcakes Take The Cake

5 Reasons Why I love cupcakes?

1) They are so cute and adorable, and they remind me of my sweet childhood=)
2) They are cheaper than buying a whole big cake.
3) They are small gifts of indulgence, so I feel less guilty after eating it, compared to having a slice of cake.
4) They are a convenient dessert to eat because they come in single serve proportions. No serving  utensils required.
5) They come in many flavors; however, you do not have to commit to one.

These 5 prime reasons inspired me to start my cupcake couture and catering business to spread my love of cupcakes to others. There are thousand people out there also love cupcakes; however, there is one group of people have been loving cupcakes so much that they even created a website to dedicate to CUPCAKES!

Cupcakes Take The Cake  was started in December of 2004. Three cupcakes lovers,  Rachel Kramer Bussel (the author and editor), Nichelle Stephens (the blogger and social media manager), and Stacie Joy (the photographer and editor) were inspired by the opening of New York City bakery Sugar Sweet Sunshine and the release of Clare Crespo’s book Hey There, Cupcake!,as well as the success of their friends who run the pizza blog Slice. All these inspired them to create a cupcake official website for cupcakes!

Who would have thought about a cupcake website could attract so many attentions, including MSNBC and Food Network.  This website is a bible for all cupcake lovers and someone loves sweet.  They include almost everything you need to know or want to know about cupcakes.  From cupcake reviews to cupcake recipes to interview of different bakeries around the whole world.  This is one of the most additive websites for browsing around.  And no doubt that this is the most developed and organized website about everything you need to know about cupcakes.

I am so honor to be featured on Cupcakes Take The Cake twice!  Our Lady Gaga's cupcakes were featured on this website back to September 2011.  And the triathlon inspired cupcakes (specially made for the Cupcake Activist) were featured on their website again this month.  And I am very happy that they love our creativity and works.

I Love Sewing Cupcake Toppers

Hi, how's your weekend?  I had a great but busy weekend this week.  Went to visit my family and my new nephew, attended my good friend's wedding and went to Mr. G's grandpa's birthday party.  But don't worry, no matter how busy I am, I have never forgot about my C for Cupcake Cupcakery's blog to remain connected with everyone.

I made these cute sewing cupcake toppers couple weeks ago.  They are a great way to dress up your cupcakes, cookies or other baked goodies.  Just want to remind everyone that I just opened our C for Cupcake Cupcakery Etsy shop online (click here to check out our online store) to sell cupcake toppers, cupcake wrappers, gift tags and much more...I know I know, now my online store is still pretty empty.  But I promise more items will be posted soon.

The idea and concept about my Etsy shop is serving more people! My online cupcake business is limited to serve those who live in Orange County, Los Angeles County and part of Inland Empires.  I also know that a lot of people like to bake by using their own recipes, but they may not have time to make the "accessories" to dress up their baked goodies; therefore, our C for Cupcake Cupcakery Etsy Shop could serve those customers, who live outside of the LA and OC area, and also serve those who love to bake, but do not have time to make the "accessories" to dress up their baked goodies.  Hopefully, I could share more sweetness through my Etsy shop with everyone.

I will post more projects on my Etsy shop soon, stay tuned!

I can not count how many times I have mentioned on my blog about how much I love Cakespy.com and the artworks and recipes Jessie Oleson (the creator of Cakespy.com) created.  Everything on her website are totally AWESOME! MAGICAL! SWEET!

Her book, "Sweet Treats for a Sugar-filled Life" has just released (find out more details here).  Recently, Cake Central, the world's largest online cake decorating community has organized this super Awesome!  Magical!  Sweet! Cake Contest last month.  And the winner went to this super Awesome!  Magical!  Sweet! Cake.  The cake was inspired by the artworks crated by Jessie Oleson.  The winner took home a signed copy of the newly released  "Sweet Treats for a Sugar-filled Life" by Jessie Oleson.  How awesome and sweet it is!  Here is the despiration from the winner:

The cake is inspired by beautiful illustrations of Jessie Oleson. My daughter loved them so much that I had no choice but to make this cake. The first to be eaten was CCoggie (Cuppie Doggie), there are also Cuppie Boss, Cuppie Fairy, Player, Fitness Fanatic, Photographer, Pets and Sweets Lover, Decorator, Baseball Player and Awesome Cuppie Boss Worshhipper. The cake is vanilla, chocolate and strawberry cake, filling vanilla and cocconut IMBC, covered in fondant. Decorations fondant, gumpaste, marzipan, marshmallows and liquorice. Everything is edible (except wires and Rainbow Dust).

The cake is 99% edible (I don't think I want to eat this AWESOME creation though).  To check out the rest of the cakes, which entered to the contest, go to here.

We are on "Cupcakes Take the Cake"

I have been following this #1 cupcake website called "Cupcakes take the Cake" for a while.  If you are a cupcake lover, I am sure you heard of them (and love them) before.  If you are new, this site won't disappont you.  They always share pictures of a lot of fun and cute looking cupcakes to please your eyes, provide information, location and review of different cupcakes shops (within the states and outside the states) and share countless "sweet" recipes on their website.  If you are planning a trip and would like to stop by some cupcake shops, this site is right for you.

I am so happy to share this great news with everyone that, our Lady Gaga inspired cupcakes were selected to be on their website.  Check out here
