Little Bird Cupcakes

Couple months ago, I made these cute mini cupcakes for my customer.  I made some pink and purple birds and flowers to match the invitation of the baby shower.  They were the cuttest thing to eat, and everyone loved them (according to my customer).

It's been too long since I last updated my "creations".  I got couple orders for parties this weekend.  The themes for both parites are very cute and unique.  I will share pictures of the second party with everyone later this week.

Here are some mini cupcakes I made for the first party.  It's a baby shower for a baby girl, the theme is "Under the Sea".  Since the mini cupcakes are so tiny, I needed to keep all the decorations simple and catchy.   The flavors of the cupcakes are carrot cupcakes with cream  cheese frosting, red velvet cupcakes with white chocolate rose water frosting and the last but not the least is Japanese honey cupcakes with vanilla buttercream  frosting...

Two weeks ago, I got an online order from my Etsy Shop.  A customer was planning a baby shower party for a friend (the friend is expecting a little baby girl), and she wanted to order some baby hello kitty with the pacifiers and baby bonnets on.  This was my second time of making this richest kitty in the world, but I still had fun of making them again (and the designs of these toppers are different than the last time too).

Party "Surprise"...oops I mean Supplies=)

C for Cupcake Cupcakery Etsy Shop is a great place for me to expend my business and share my crafts with everyone.  Since it's opened, I am so happy that I could help few customers to take the stress away from their shoulders and make them and their guests happy.  The motto of C for Cupcake Cupcakery is taking the bitterness away from our customers.  Our Etsy Shop takes a further step - we would like to add sweetness to your party.  We want to make your party extraordinary and extremely awesome by making matching party supplies - gift tags, banners, cupcake picks, you name it.

Taking engagement pictures is one of the exciting moments during the whole wedding "project".  How could you make your pictures stand out from others and be the talk of the town?!  So I came up with this idea -   Yesterday, I made a set of cookie and milk sign for engagement pictures.  It's just make your engagement pictures extraordinary cute and different from your friends'.

Except for this milk and cookie power "couple", I also made some table "numbers" placement cards for wedding banquets.  Let me explain my idea, so instead of telling your guests they will be seating at Table Numbers 1, 2, 3...you are going to tell your guests, their next designations will be Seattle, San Francisco, Miami...that just makes your banquet more fun.

Safari Theme Baby Shower Cupcakes

I got to admit that ever since the first day of 2012, I have not blogged as much as I wish.  There are few reasons, but the major reason is my full-time job has been keeping me extremely busy these days.  It seems that it is slowing down a little bits; I could have more spare time to blog and share sweet things I saw, I made, I tasted with all of you.

Last weekend, I made some very cute and tasty cupcakes for my customer.  Since the expected parents-to-be don't want to find out the gender of their future baby.  The mom of the mommy-to-be picked a very neutral theme for the baby shower, a Safari theme it is!  I think this is a beyond wonderful idea.  Since they have a strict budgets for the party, I suggested to make some matching paper animal cupcake picks to go with the theme.  That way it could lower the cost, but still make the cupcakes stand out.  The customer loved the idea.  She also like some tropical favors to go with the safari theme.  After our consultation, I suggested pina colada cupcake with fluffy coconut buttercream frosting, chocolate cupcakes with dark and milk chocolate frosting and the last but not the least was banana cupcakes with creamy honey frosting.

Everything turned out wonderful and I am so glad my customer, the future parents-to-be and their guests loved everything.  They told me they ever saved the cute animal cupcake picks to show their baby in future.

Bridal Shower Supplies

7 more days till Christmas and 13 more days till the new year.  I am so excitied for Christmas and my vacation, yay! 

It's been two very hectic months - Thanksgiving, Christmas and new year. I got several orders from my Etsy shop these 2 months.  I am so happy that my Etsy shop is doing pretty good since I opened the end of October.  I will have more items listed on my Etsy shop, so stay tuned!

I got an email from a customer out of California about a custom order.  At first, she wanted to order 3 dozens of fondant cupcake toppers for her friend's wedding shower.  However, due to the limit time (it's a very rush order), I didn't think I could finish the fondant cupcake toppers on time.  So I suggested that I could make some cupcake picks and matching favor tags for her friend's wedding shower.  She gave me the theme colors and also what they want for the shower (the bride and groom's first initial).  She was very open about any idea I have.  I ended up making some very elegant cupcake picks and favor tags for them.

New Item - Cupcake in a Jar

Not a genie in a bottle, but a cupcake in a jar!  We are proud to introduce our new cupcake item - Cupcake in a Jar!  They are cute, very portable and convenient to eat, and of course they are yummy!  The holiday seasons is coming, they will make a great gift to someone you love.  I used a bigger jar (16 oz) in the pictures (they fit in two cupcakes each jar).  However, if you would like to have a smaller jar, please let me know.  I could also use a smaller jar (250 ml) to fit in just one cupcake.  They also make good wedding and party favors.  I will decorate each of them to match the theme of the party.

Here is some ordering information:  6 (16 oz) minimum or 12 (250 ml) minimum.  They will be professionally decorated as in the pictures.
